- These appointments shall be purely on a contract basis as per contract policy 2006 of GoAJK for an initial period of 03 years (extendable) or as specified by Govt. subsequently.
All vacancies will be filled purely on a merit basis.
Selected candidates shall have to abide by the rules and regulations of PMC and the institution.
The appointment during the period of the contract shall be liable to termination on 30 days prior notice on either side or on payment of one month’s pay in lieu thereof without assigning any reason.
Monthly salary shall be liable to tax deduction at source as per law.
Age should not be more than 60 years.
In respect of other matters not specified in this contract the rules and regulations of GoAJK shall apply.
Only short-listed candidates will be called for an interview No TA/DA will be admissible.
The appointee will join the institution after receiving the offer letter from the Principal’s Office within the prescribed period. If they fail to join due to any reason within the specified time, the candidate will be blacklisted for any future employment in any of the Medical Colleges of AJK.
Accommodation shall not be provided.
The selected faculty must be physically present in the college/hospital on duty for a minimum of six hours on every working day. Any duration less than six hours per day will be considered part-time faculty as per PMC/PM&DC rules. Which is not permissible under prevailing rules, therefore such faculty members will be marked absent from duty for that day.
For Department of Health Candidates only:
a. The applicant of DoH employees already working in teaching Hospitals of the Medical College will process their applications through the proper channels along with all documents mentioned below and will only be entertained after the approval of the Secretary of Health GoAJK. Direct applications will not be considered.
b. Selected DoH employees will draw their salary against their substantive post at respective Teaching Hospitals.
The following documents must be submitted with the application at the address given below within 15 working days after the advertisement.
• Attested copies of educational certificates, degrees, diplomas, experience certificates, articles & Recognition of experience certificate/eligibility certificate (for the applied post).
• Detailed Curriculum Vitae of the applicants, the cover letter clearly highlighting the post applied for and personal attributes.
• Four attested photographs.
